Worth Mentioning:
The following is a list of things worth mentioning to potential buyers about the truck:
  • I have taken the time to photograph all of the cosmetic issues the truck has.
  • Truck has some rust bubbling in spots. Rocker panels, along rain gutters, etc. There is also some bubbling on the passenger side interior above the window that will need to be addressed. She's a ten-footer that gets nothing but attention everywhere she goes, but she is also almost 50 years old.
  • The previous owner painted the truck orange and white. Paint is fair. There are spots where the masking job prior to painting is visible. The paint is a flat finish with no clear-coat. Shows nicely from 10 feet away, but it was full intention to rust repair where needed and repaint the truck myself.
  • The shift linkage will need to be adjusted. Gear shift lever will not stay in park without holding it there. The truck shifts fine and goes into all gears without issue. This is a repair that I will have done prior to the truck being sold. But in the spirit of full disclosure I thought it was worth mentioning here.
  • There is a tear in the bench seat upholstery (see photos). I will include the horse blanket cover which I have been using as a cover.
  • The truck is a 1969 Chevrolet C20. Somewhere along the way her cab was replaced with a GMC cab. The door tag vin reads: KE134Z111XXX, indicating that the cab is from a 1971 GMC 1500 4x4(see photos). The truck is titled as a 1969 Chevy Pickup with this VIN. Clear Florida Title.
  • Passenger door will not open as the latch is frozen. I may be able to get to this repair prior to the sale of the truck as well.
  • I have been driving her every week around the block and as a weekend driver, and she remains under a car-cover when she's not being driven. But with my other car projects she has taken a back seat and its time to get her to someone who can appreciate her. a 3/4 ton truck with a 396 is a great combo, and it should be restored and enjoyed to the fullest.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Open to offers, as long as they are reasonable.
Truck is also being sold locally, and so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
