If you hate people giving you thumbs up, taking pictures, and stopping you to talk about your car, dont buy this car. If these things dont bother you, this could be the car for you. This is a blown big block beautiful 1957 chevy 2 door sedan. I have owned the car for three years and here is what has been done in those years:- complete tune up- all MSD- Aluminum Radiator and new fan- new door panels, rear panels- new carpet- new steering wheel- new 5 inch tach- new idler arm- all new gas tank seals- new gas tank pick up- new stainless braided fuel line tank to carb- new KYB shocks- dynamat sound deadener installed on floors and doors- new B and M star shifter- new summit brake booster- summit racing hood scoop- summit triple gauge set- new interstate battery
The engine is a 396 big block Chevrolet with a weiand 671 blower. The carbs are Holley 750 double pumpers. The ignition is all MSD including the 6AL box, distributer, and coil. The chrome is excellent everywhere. The car was disassembled and rebuild about 15 or so years ago from what I understand. It was not restored, but rebuilt with the frame separated from the frame and reassembled. All bushings were changed at this time. The weatherstripping was all replaced and is in excellent condition. The wiring harness was replaced as well. As you look at the pictures, I think you get a pretty good idea of what went into this car. I did not build the engine so I cannot give any information on it. All of the glass is in good shape. The engine compartment has a lot of chrome or polished aluminum. The car runs and drives very well. It runs on pump gas. It has front power disc brakes and manual steering. Please email me any questions that you have.
