Jeff’s Hot Rod Shop is proud to offer this one of one Nova SS. A complete nut & bolt rotisserie build, no expense has been spared. We acquired this vehicle in late 2011 with the intention of doing a complete stem to stern Pro Tourer. It is a true Nova SS with 118 VIN code. It originally came from California in excellent condition with no rust and all original steel. The vehicle was then stripped to bare metal and refinished in a deep lustrous black (note the reflections in the photos) and has all new glass. The powertrain starts with a fresh GM LS3 6.2L (376 cid) “Connect & Cruise” crate engine rated at 525 HP. Cooling is handled by an RnD high flow aluminum radiator. The transmission is a GM 4L70e Automatic with a Bandit Shifter. A Denny’s driveshaft connects to a 9” Ford differential with 3:73 Trac Loc gears and Cal Trac traction bars. Hedman Ceramic Headers feed into (2.5”) Pypes stainless crossover exhaust system.
The suspension is a new Heidt’s sub-frame assembly equipped with power rack & pinion steering and beefed up torsion bar. Brakes are 4-wheel Wilwood discs and the car rolls on Billet Specialties wheels with Nitto low profile tires. The interior has been completely redone as well with Vintage Air and front and rear bucket seats with a full length console capped by a 1-piece headliner. Custom steering wheel is from Billet Specialties. The dash has been fitted with Dakota Digital Gauges and a Pioneer Stereo. The engine compartment has been cleverly customized to accommodate the 6.2L LS3 engine with a hidden cold air intake and A/C unit.
