1979 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Description:

This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION on a 1979 4 speed manual 4wd K20 Chevy pickup truck. Unfortunately the motor "probably" dropped a valve:( It turned over and then stopped. The motor will back up by hand. The 350 motor is almost ready to pull. I took off everything except the motor mounts, transmission mounts, clutch assembly, transmission mounts and put all parts in the truck bed (bolts in the cab). I then stopped for the reason that it is easier transport to the new buyer if the motor and particulars are left in the truck. You can easily have the motor out in less than 2 hours or less! I did coat the exhaust bolts with lubricant so they "should come right off. I am having a 4 bolt 350 motor with double hump heads being rebuilt that can be purchased outside the sale of the truck (not included in this auction) for what we have in it - TO the buyer only. Otherwise it stays for my next project. The 350 motor pictured in the truck DOES go with the truck. It could use a right fender. All of the rest of the body (if you're worried about looks) can be repaired. The good thing about this truck is that, because of the lack of rust, this truck is well worth rebuilding. The miles are thought to be actual but, I have no way to verify that. The PAINT IS ORIGINAL. There is no drive shaft for the front wheel drive. All of the rest of the drive train is there. The battery is not included. Everything else is there. This IS a NO RESERVE auction, so bid your best and you WILL own this truck. This can be a very easy fix for any caliber mechanic at heart!!
