1969 camaro Z28 (?)

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description:

Does not run, as is.VIN 124379L515393.A copy of the paper title for the vehicle, issued in 1982, is held by seller.Attempted to run a vehicle history but had no success.

There are so many cloned Z28’s from over the years that I hesitate to state with certainty this is a Z28.

This vehicle was purchased in Tucson, AZ in 1982.It had a non-cowl induction hood, (with a hole burned in it) but that appeared to be a replacement.The 302 hood emblems were found in the vehicle.The car has front disk brakes, remote (driver’s) mirror, 12 bolt rear end (3.08 as I recall), multi-leaf rear springs, 4 spd (Muncie), tach, Endura front bumper, etc.It appears to have quick ratio power steering but uncertain. The console was broken and the gauge pack was missing, so what is seen in the car is a ‘Cuda console as that is what I could find at the time.I don’t know if the tach has been replaced with the gas gauge cluster due to the missing gauge pack or if it was original. If so, it wasn’t a Z28.

The engine that was found in the car was a two bolt main 327 which appeared to be a replacement drop-in from 1968 if I recall correctly.That is what is still in the car.

The car was reworked in Arizona from 1982-1983.The seats in the car at present are Recaro racing seats (leather sides) from that era.Hooker side pipes and headers were added.Some front wheel well modifications were conducted to allow for wider profile tires.

The car was driven to central Nevada in 1983 and stored on my parents’ place.It was then transported to central Washington in 2015.

Some of the work done previously will have to be redone.Epoxy body putty doesn’t seem to last after over 30 years in the Nevada sun.

Unless the car is advertised as an original mileage car do not assume that the mileage/odometer reading is the actual mileage. It is simply what the odometer is reading at the time of the pictures. IT IS NOT ACTUAL MILEAGE UNLESS STATED SO IN DESCRIPTION.Here, it is only known what is shown on the odometer.

Winning bidder must contact seller within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise.
