1969 Corvette Coupe
I bought this car from a friend who owns a museum in London and had it as a feature for several years. It was restored/customized for a French soccer player prior and includes many expensive upgrades including a full hand stitched leather interior(dash/doors/pillars/etc) with white piping, custom floor mats... The paint is black with a slight gold flake that shows only in direct sunlight. There is a painted "9" insignia above the rear license plate and some stitching on the headrests. The car has chrome side pipes and various engine upgrades including an aluminum radiator and chrome trim items. It has power windows, removable rear glass which are all tinted. It originally had AC but I think some of the components are missing. The wheels are 20" and the tires are in very good condition. The transmission is automatic and the engine is a 350, but not original. It starts right up and drives fine but should get a tune-up as I have only driven it a few times around my neighborhood since I've owned it over the past 3 years and it seems to have a bad plug or wire or perhaps the timing needs adjusting. As expected with a 50 yr old classic there are a collection of minor maintenance items that would need to be addressed to consider it in perfect working condition, i.e. the vacuum hose system for the headlights and wiper door have a leak somewhere, there is a transmission hose leak, the cd player face is missing, the windshield has a crack, there may be other minor items but nothing I can recall now or that would be a significant factor in the value of the car. Expect to give it a little TLC since it hasn't been regularly driven for several years, otherwise it shows great and is a solid classic. I have the clear title, for some reason it is listed as a 68 but the VIN and all other details are correct. Car is in Miami Florida and Listed with No Reserve.
