1976 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Landau Description:

Thisbeauty has been owned by the same family since new. Always garaged and well maintained. Please note when I first placed the ad I mentioned that it was "rust free", butafter posting this ad I wasasked to show the doors,undercarriage, etc. Consequently I've added 13 new photos. While taking the pictures I noticed some small amount of rust bubbles on the lower inside lip of the doors. The passenger door only has a faint area approximately 2" long. It was very hard todetect, and it's difficult to see in the picture. You can see by the pictures that the driver's door has several small spots with some bubbles.I'vecarefullychecked the rest of the vehicle and couldn't find any other evidence of corrosion. As a result I can't say it's a "rust free" car, but the amount of corrosion I found is pretty small.Check out the rocker panels/door sills and undercarriage, etc., and you can seehow nice it is. The floor pan still has the red oxide paint from the factory.

The burgundy cloth interior is so nice that people think it's been restored, but it's all original. The trunk is so clean that it looks like there's never been anything in it. The factory acrylic lacquer paint isin excellent condition. However there is a dent on the front centerof the hood where gas station attendants have pushed down to close the hood (picture included).

The Monte Carlo has new tires and a new OEM replacement radiator. The carb, distributor, starter, and brake system have all been rebuilt. The spare tire appears to be the original. The exhaust system appears to be originaland is still very solid. It runs and drives great. It looks like a Chevy, but rides like a Cadillac!
