1986 CUCV diesel K5 Blazer

1986 Chevrolet Blazer CUCV Description:

1986 military K5 Blazer CUCV M1009 Has a banks sidewinder turbo kit on a rebuilt 6.2 Diesel engine and a 700r4 overdrive tranny. Previous owner had engine rebuilt and put miles on it. Fully converted to 12volt system, not 24volt. Frame and body are completely free of rust, as this truck spent its entire life in California, until I purchased it last spring. This thing is a beast. It has a Dana 60 front end, and a Dana 70HD rear out of a 1ton dually with 4.10 gears, with an NP208 transfer case. Has 5 military split rims and 5 almost new 37" tires (spare). Frame rail mount fuel pump. Runs and drives great. I have put a new windshield in it, fixed a wiring issue it had, re-sealed the oil pan that was leaking and installed a muffler (it was a little loud). Actually drives really nice due to the longer leaf springs that were put in with the heavier axles (48" springs up front and 52" springs out back). Has crazy suspension travel and could be taken out on a trail right now, also wouldn't hesitate to drive it to the trailhead from your house.
