1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Belair Description:

1955 Chevrolet Belair 2 door hardtop. This is an original Black and White Montana car, purchased new in Great Falls. Retired to a barn for a couple decades, then put in a field just before the guy I bought it from found it. He stripped the car of parts and paint. No bondo in this car. The parts, plus many extras, including another frame, fender, hood and trunk lid are included (if you want them and have room on the trailer). Very solid car...some thinness in floor panels (as usual). Needs some fender work. Minor rust in usual places, but no need for panels, just a small sheet metal patch or two. Has dented passenger side rocker panel, easy to replace. No engine or trans, but I can also make you a deal on a 327 short block or a rebuilt 4-bolt main 350 and a rebuildable Muncie or a good, solid T-10 4 speed. Frame, engine and trans are available only to the person buying the car. These cars, especially in this condition, are getting very rare. I just have too many projects, and since I already have a 55 Belair, this one is going to be sold. Paint was stripped from the car so I put it in primer for storage. Has two boxes of stainless trim; it's all there and in very good condition so you won't be nickel and dimed finding parts. Side chrome is there but needs straightening. The car is full of its original parts; very complete. The headliner can be cleaned and re-used...it's that nice! Has rear door panels included (need to be redone of course), and both seat frames are complete and in good condition. All glass is included. Window flippers, beltline stainless, etc. all good. Bumpers and grille are included but not pictured. Car was not hot-rodded but the column shifter was replaced with a floor shifter at some point so there is a hole in the floor for that. Trunk is rock solid as are all the frame mounts (see pics; note that the bolts have already been removed for you). There's no salt used on roads in Montana, so it's very nice with just surface rust on the under-carriage. Feel free to ask questions thru Ebay. Happy to send along phone number if you have questions. Clear Montana title. A solid foundation for a restoration. These cars are getting hard to find and easily bring $40,000 to $100,000 when completed. I have been selling on Ebay since it began and maintain a 100% positive feedback score. I can help load and can store the car here for a couple months if needed. You must tell your shipper the car does not have functioning brakes nor does it run. We are just 20 miles from Interstate I-90, so shipping should not be an issue and a car hauler can turn around here. Sold as is. Thanks!
