1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Description:

This Rare Sedan delivery was just purchased from the previous 40-year owner. The car spent its entire life in the Southwest as a California built car thatstayed in California and Arizona until just a few years ago. As you see it here it is exactly as the prior owner redid the car over 30 years ago. A total restorationat the time and incredibly well cared for ever since., the car is truly outstanding. A bare metal overall repaint of a beautiful damage free body with all new glass and new Chrome exterior trim, This car looks like it was done very recently. a well done full custom interior was installed and shows no wear whatsoever. The mechanical restoration included an upgrade from the original 6 cyl motor to a 1965 Chevrolet 327 fitted with 1.94 performanceGM heads and a complete '57 Corvette dual quad setup. Power brakes and power windows were also fitted at time of restoration. When the body was lifted from the frameall-new body mounts were installed.The underside was cleaned revealing smooth floors now totally repainted as was the bare frame all suspension componentry. The motor was rebuilt at the time and has approximately 30,000 miles on it since. Backed up with a Muncie M21 4 speed and a 3:70 rear gearthis car is a joy to drive.It runs and drives excellent with no issues or problems going any distance. A new direct replacement Aluminum radiator and brake components were also redone at time of restoration. The car is super clean underneath with a perfectly smooth frame and underbody like only you see in a southwest car.Cars like this are nearly impossible to find with structuralintegrity and all factory body panels as built from new. This car in its very stock appearance is a great cruiser and ready to be enjoyed just as you see it here.
