1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Description:

This is a 1968 Chevy Chevelle Malibu 2 door. It is set up for drag racing. I bought it from the guy that built it and the following is what he told me about the car. He claims the car would run in the 10's pull the front end. It has a 406 small block with a steel crank, forged pistons, balanced rotating assembly, 300 horse double hump heads, pretty radical Lunati cam (didn't remember the specs), Edelbrock Torker manifold, 750 double pumper Holley carburetor, MSD ignition, rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission set up for racing, 4000 rpm stall converter, NOS nitrous oxide system, 10 bolt rear end with 4:10 gears and Detroit Locker differential, Simpson racing seat with 5 point harness, a roll cage, B&M Z-Gate Shifter, rebuilt front end with new upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends, RCI fuel cell, driveshaft safety loop, battery relocated to the trunk. The car is in descent shape, has some rust here and there, mainly floor pans, lower front fenders and lower rear quarters. The car has some bondo here and there, mostly filling the rust on the lower fenders and lower quarters. The car had a vinyl top originaly and there is some pitting on the roof. Rear tires are 29.0x10.0x15 Goodyear Eagle Drag Slicks mounted on Weld Racing Draglite wheels. Front tires are 175R14 mounted on S-10 wheels. The car starts, runs and drives, and stops. The car hasn't been raced for several years and the tires are weather cracked and would need replacing. This car has a clear title in my name. I will take the $500 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction via paypal but the remaining balance is cash or cashiers check at pickup or bank wire if having it shipped. . I also have some of the parts that got removed during the build. Factory bench seat, headlamps, gas tank, and some other misc. parts that will go with the car to help with putting back on the street if that's your plan. Want to mention that the front windshield is cracked, not sure if its noticeable in the pics. All the other glass is good. Thanks
