1937 Chevrolet 5-Window Coupe History The Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe are American passenger vehicles manufactured by Chevrolet between 1933 and 1942 to replace the 1933 Eagle. It was the more expensive model in the Chevrolet range at this time, with the Mercury and Standard providing a cheaper and smaller range between 1933 and 1937. Why This Car Is Special A lot of these 1937 Chevrolet 5-Window Coupes have been re-worked into Street Rods, but a lot also are fiberglass bodies or even complete kit cars. The one we have at Skyway Classics is more than those, it is an all steel Street Rod with modifications to make it even better. Mechanical For instance, the front suspension is out of a Mustang II and it comes with power disc brakes and power rack & pinion steering. The heart of this rod is it's 350 cubic inch V8 engine with many performance and appearance items like the Edelbrock intake, HEI, finned valve covers, Quick Fuel Technologies 4 barrel carburetor, K&N air cleaner, electric fan, and much chrome. It has a chrome alternator, A/C compressor, master cylinder cover, with it's Lokar throttle linkage, billet dipsticks, and more. Interior Inside our 1937 you will find sweet blue split bench seating that has gray accents. The dash has a selection of Auto Meter vintage performance gauges in chrome bezels, a chrome tilt column with billet steering wheel, great door panel and trim throughout. Exterior As stated earlier, the great looking paint adorns the all steel body and fenders on our 37 coupe and it has a great stance as it rides on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels in Black Chrome with BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires.
