1965 Chevrolet Chevelle super sport Description:
1965 Chevelle Super Sport hard-top, excellent condition, VIN 138375K159287. Originally a L79 car from Utah, it was featured recently in a Falmouth Classic Car show. A complete restoration was professionally done in 2011, no rust anywhere, no damage, three coats of base silver metallic paint, three coats of clear coat, and tasteful black pin-striping along the side panels.
Engine was built by Murder Force Racing in Salt Lake City using a 350ci ZZR short block, moderate-lift cam, solid lifters,hi performance heads, Demon 650 cfm carb w/ duel-feed fuel line & pressure gauge. Engine configured with a Weiland supercharger. The engine has been dyno-rated at 700 hp. Car has a turbo 350 automatic transmission, set-up for B&M manual shifting, ceramic headers, MSD ignition and wires, electric fuel pump, 3-gauge cluster, aluminum radiator with electric fan, new suspension and gas tank,traction bars, new drum brakes and lines, new bucket seats, new dash, original tachometer,new battery, stainless dual exhaust, new trim pieces and emblems, interior,headliner, bumpers, 16-in Corvette Rally chrome wheels w/ Goodyear tires, 3-inch fiberglass cowl-induction hood, new 3:55 posi-traction rear end, and much more. Car is quick but very driveable on the street. Latest state inspection.
Complete tune-up was done Fall 2017.Runs at ~190F on pump gas. Full restoration and service records available.Based on Haggerty evaluation, condition is judged to be "excellent # 2â€. Car has always been well cared for, never rained on,detailed monthly, and garaged year round. Never raced, driven ~300 mi/yr for shows and cruising on sunny days.
