1955 Chevrolet Nomad BEL AIR Description:

Your looking at a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad.. This Nomad was a complete frame off rebuild 660 miles ago. Starting from the bottom up all new brakes and hoses, new ball joints, bushings, and bearings. Front coil springs have been replaced and have one coil cut off as well as rear springs have been rebuilt and lowering blocks installed. Do have original coil springs in order to go back stock. Frame was stripped and painted black. Under side of the nomad was stripped and painted red primer as it would have came off the assembly line. The Engine is the 265 V8 with a power glide transmission. Both Motor and Transmission are the originals that came with the nomad originally and have been rebuilt and a complete new exhaust has been installed. As for the body you will be hard pressed to find a straighter Nomad the body on this car is extremely straight and 100% rust free. Car was completely stripped and re-painted factory Turquoise and White. All Bumpers, Eyebrows, and Door Trim have been Re-Chromed. Rear hatch was straightened and re-plated as well. All new interior was installed as well as weatherstripping and felts. Dynamat material was placed on floor boards and all new carpet was installed. Have freshly powder coated rally wheels and new rubber on the Nomad currently however do have the factory wheels with great shape hubcaps that will go with the car as well.
