1958 Chevrolet Impala Description:

For sale a Custom 1958 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery that was Penciled by none other than the legendary Chip Foose. The story of this 1958 Sedan Delivery is as follows . Mothers Polishes was looking to build a new Delivery to complement they're already Infamous 1959 . After acquiring a near perfect 1958 Deliver, Chip Foose drew his version of what it should b, from its shaved bod, filled in molding, filled in fender indents and custom touches to the body.The car was stripped and sent to a body shop in California where the customizing and body work was performed.Starting with a virtually rust free California Chev, all of the panels were Stripped and they were Gapped to Show Car standards . The car is virtually ready for paint and is in black finish needing only a block for final paint with the exception of the fact, that will be noted shortly .The car was completely fit front to back as any custom show car would be. It is our understanding there is somewhere well north of 12k in the body alone . The exterior body was completely done fit finished As well as the firewall was completely filled,and put in primer the floors were not addressed as a custom frame was going to be put underneath of this car. We have pictured the floor inside there is some rust through on the floor pans themselves easily repairable if you choose to use the original frame. During the course of the customization and bodywork Troy Trepanier came in and offered to redo the Red 1959 Sedan delivery for Mothers . Jim sold this car to another friend of his here on the East Coast. We are fortunate to be able to say Jim has been a very good close friend of ours for man, many, years .The car was transported from California to Pennsylvania where a plan set into motion to build the car. While the car was being transported to the shop that was going to finish the body and paint it, The hood caught wind and was ripped off of the car. The hood was not latched down by the transporter. Luckily for everyone involved only a small dent on the top of the right front fender wound up being the only damage to the car. There is no hood as it was damaged beyond repair. We have located an NOS Hood and A pair of used hinges and will be happy to pass that information along to the new owner. This car is absolutely killer body wise front to back you will need to address the top of the fender and it's ready to go whichever way you want. Be it a full-Blown Custo, Street-rod or Correct Junior Stocker or whatever your taste may be . The car comes with a brand new windshiel, boxes of parts California one piece front and rear bumpers,Grille,lights and lots of extra parts.We have some additional parts pictures we will upload.
