1974 Chevrolet Corvette Description:

The motor is a 350 V8 Chevrolet (small block/biggest made)with approx. 77,000 miles (new value covers and gaskets)new plug wiring-this motor is out of a 1976 Chevy Truck thatis a great motor does not smoke and is great sounding withlots of power. *Odometer reads 38,000 +/- so more than likelythe body/frame original has under 40,000 miles.
*Like New Stainless Steel Headers/New Exhaust Dual Pipes (corvette partstore)*Pipes were $300.00 approx. and the headers are worth about $700.00sounds great motor is good. Car runs nice/I have been considering to put amodule and take out the points and condenser which the part costs about $90.00from corvette part store.

All else is as original as I know, I bought the car without a motorfrom a corvette dealer in town, and put the motor in by a certifiedlocal mechanic, and he did most all the work, including putting inthe back glass, someone that owned it before put a paint job onit, but no clear coat, I have all the emblems STINGRAY that goeson the car exterior, the rear view mirror, the steering wheel centeremblem, the rear grills on the back trunk, all were taken off to paintthe car, I have all those that will go with the car.
The only thing as of today the car needs is a radiator fan/motor,and interior door panels, carpet, and it's currently at a specialtyshop getting a oil change and carburetors adjusted, I have those2 new relays for the headlights/vacuum that are from corvette store,that paid $54.00 each, and I have a new manual for this particular74 corvette sealed never opened, and it may need a new windshieldwiper motor, the wiper blades are new, and the motor I believe hasa A/C but would need a compressor? The A/C ups the value about$500.00 from what the Hagerty.com values are for this car/model/year.
*Car is getting the points and condenser taken out and a upgrade to amodule for electronic starting-better performance by a high grade mechanicshop this week with new plug wiring for best quality. Also the tech is going to check all breaking systems andthe entire fluid-levels transmission and an oil change. This sports carcollector's will be ready to roll in just a matter of hours!
