1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Description:

1970 Monte Carlo S, rpoz20, numbers matching block and trans . Needs total restoration including quarter panels and trunk floo, inner and outer wheel houses and front fender patches . Engine needs cleaned and reassembled . The block is a 512 cast @.040 over and crank is steel@ .020 under . The cylinder heads were replaced in the 1970's which are 396/427 ovals . This is a black car with no vinyl to, air conditioning with no tented glass . Bench seat with no guages . Original 12 bolt diff with a 2:56 posi and has newer forged axle shafts . The engine was removed in 1997 due to failed cam shaft . It was rebuilt in 1986 and has less than 10k miles . The transmissio, Turbo 400 was rebuilt in 1992 and has less than 5k miles on it . Owned since 1986 . Mostly stored . Asking 8k OBO .
