If you have been looking for a super cool, retro rod classic car, then you definitely need to check out this absolutely gorgeous 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubble Top Coupe! What a sweet ride! And done right too! Not just the looks, but the mechanics also. She starts right up every morning, drives straight and strong with no shakes, cold air conditioning, the transmission shifts tight and smooth, handles corners very well with the added sway bars and stops excellent with the power front disc brakes. It really is a pleasure to drive, feels much better than original with all the added upgrades and I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. This was no cheapy resto by any means as you will see below in the 70+ pictures that speak for themselves! There was a whole bunch of money spent on this beauty for sure!
The color is a Coral Pearl with custom flames under clear and a white pearl interior that really looks sweet! Very expensive professional paint job that looks the part and rechromed bumpers with stainless trim. Just some of what the owner listed- new 350 V-8 crate motor, (the working odometer shows 06,406 miles, that may reflect the miles since the build was completed), Edelbrock carb and aluminum intake, oversize aluminum radiator, billet aluminum accessories, cold Vintage Air Conditioning, Flowmaster dual exhaust, 700 R4 transmission, Full Moon Eyes Gauge kit, custom billet steering wheel w/tilt, front seat belts, Sony Xplod CD stereo with custom speakers and amps, new glass all the way around, power steering, power brakes, front slotted discs, rear drums, front and rear anti-sway bars, 2” drop spindles and 17” polished American Racing wheels w/Falken Ziex radials. I really am impressed with the way this was all put together, it just has that right stance and the right feel! No way in the world could you replace this car for what I am asking for it. I would imagine the paint job alone had to run $10k plus! And the original 61 coupe they started with was a solid, practically rust free car that must have come from a dry climate. Just try to find one of those! Recently traded in on a high end exotic, I was very fortunate to get it and offer for sale here. Way too light to show up in a picture, you have to look hard to see it in person and barely there, some hazing in the glass at the top of the rear window. Not worth messing with in my opinion, it’s too light. I just like to mention what I see.
Beautiful stainless trim!
A small blended repair spot at the top of the fender. Probably a scratch repair, done nicely and barely noticeable. I think the camera flash makes it look worse than in person.

Bidding/Buying Policies The advertised vehicle will be described as accurately as I can, but remember these are used vehicles, they will show signs as such. As stated before, each offering is checked over and inspected before selling, but you are not bidding on nor am I selling new or high priced certified pre-owned cars, so there may be parts of the vehicle that are not like new. Depending on the age of the vehicle, the various systems involved will be at different levels of wear/service life and there may be the typical small chips/dings, blems and other signs of normal wear, inside and out, that you would expect on used vehicles. Obviously, I cannot possibly show or detail every little thing that would be on any used car. I will do my best to describe all the major things so you are clear on what you are buying, but I encourage you to call with any questions you may have before bidding. I want you to be well informed! According to Federal guidelines, all vehicles 10 or more years old are sold exempt from mileage guarantees unless specifically mentioned. If I have documentation to back up the mileage on these older cars, I will. Payment must be made by cash-in-person, cashiers check, money order or bank to bank wire transfer. A $500.00 non-refundable deposit will be expected within 3-5 days following close of auction and remainder paid within 7-10 days. According to Florida law, if an out of state purchaser takes delivery of a vehicle in the state of Florida I am obligated as a licensed dealer to collect sales tax at a rate equal to the purchasers state sales tax and not to exceed 6%. The purchaser will then be given a notarized form from the State of Florida proving tax paid to present to their tax collectors office for sales tax credit. You DO NOT pay sales tax twice! Any additional fees or taxes will be the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not apply to vehicles shipped out of state, only ones picked up in Florida. Buyer assumes the cost and responsibility of shipping. I already have contacts to ship the vehicle anywhere in the USA, so I can help arrange this for you and give you cost estimate ahead of time. If you are going to fly in and drive home, I will gladly pick you up from the Ft. Myers International Airport and provide you with a free 30 day temporary plate for your vehicle. You must have insurance before a temporary plate can be issued. Temporary plates are not provided for vehicles shipped, only ones picked up in person. All vehicles do have clear titles and are guaranteed to be clean and free of any liens or brands such as salvage or rebuilt. Occasionally, a title will be in transit from the bank or dealership because of a loan payoff and may not be in my immediate possession, but will be processed to you as soon as physically possible. Any buyer with a negative rating will be ignored unless he contacts me first with a good explanation. There is no sense in running up the prices by people who have problems following through with commitments. Remember you are entering into a legally binding contract. By the bidding and/or purchase of this vehicle, buyer obligates him or her self to agree with all guidelines and statements made on this auction page by the seller including "as-is" no warranty statements, sales tax regulations, and insurance requirements.
