1947 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Standard Description:

I am offering my 1947 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery for sale. You can see a video of when I purchased it on U-tube under Hubby’s 1947Chevy Sedan Delivery June 24th 2013

This sedan was custom build on the west coast many years ago and eventually came to Florida which is where I bought it as it appears in the video.

The frame and body are original and metal, solid for its age. The rear door does need some repair, I also know of an OEM never used, but expensive. I have two sets of font fenders and grille’s. I wanted a better set than was on the car. The front axle is a Jim Meyers unit which needs new suspension pins, which I have. The rear is from a 78 Trans Am. All the brakes have been updated to Calipers. Most everything is GM with exception of the steering which is Ford. I removed the front end to replace the king pins and have not moved forward since then. SBC and transmission, with Hurst floor shift are all complete. It needs to be on the road and at present I do not have the time and am losing my storage so it needs to move on.
