1978 Chevrolet Blazer K5 Description:
Im selling my 1978 K5 Blazer Cheyenne pkg. that is VERY highly optioned and nearly impossible to find in this condition. I am a professional mechanic specialising in building customs exclusively for the past 15+ years. This Blazer is my personal rig that I've been building. The previous owner purchased it from the original owner at just over 70k miles and drove it very rarely, hence the 85k miles currently showing. The SPI list as seen in the photo shows just how loaded the truck was when it was purchased in 78 and it's had some tasteful mods done since. The Blazer was repainted the original two tone colors with single stage paint to keep the original vintage look. The lite rock guard coating was applied only below the lower trim and was painted at the same time as the rest of the truck. All the trim is original. The truck has a nice rumble from the dual Flowmasters. It drives straight and cruises nicely. As for the bad the stereo is an old cassette player, rear panels show their age, the swing arm for the spare is missing (cheap to replace), ac compressor is out. I didn't replace it because I wanted to do a Vintage Air kit but I never got around to it. There is a couple very small dings, NO dents.
