1969 Chevrolet Corvette Big Block Description:

For sale here is my dads 1969 390 HP 427 Corvette.

There are getting to be fewer and fewer of these untouched cars out there. This has not been restored so the drive train components are a little greasy and they all leak some oil here and there. This is not an NCRS award winning car, it is just a complete example of what you would have actually driven off of a Chevrolet car lot in 1969 if you bought a big block Corvette in 1969 and didn't have the extra money for an L-88 engine.

It appears that theMuncie 4 Speed,flywheel, cast iron distributor, positraction differential, aluminum intake, clutch fan, 512 engine block etc,are the original OEM factory installed, or "born with" components to this car. It appears that all of the date codes on the engine block, Muncie 4 speed/VIN and the posi rearend are within the time frame for the build date of the car. All four pieces of glass have the original 1969 factory date codes. We put a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate in it. The rebuilt 4 speed shifts like it did when it was new in 69.

If you are really interested in this car, I have over 100 close up pictures of the undercarriage of the car when we were changing the clutch.

It has a telescoping steering wheel,power disc brakes &power steering.

The paint code shows Cortez Silver as the original GM colorin 1969.

It runs and rides as good as it looks. Factory black leather interior.

Original black and yellow California license plates and a clear title.

This Corvette is a rust free California car. I've owned it for 27 years.

It has current registration and I just took it for a spin on 12-22-2017.
