Seldom will you find a Two (2) Owner, 1964Chevrolet Impala Super Sport Convertible with Matching Serial Numbers. I have too many collectible cars in my warehouse and I need the space for my business inventory. Through a good friend, I found this car in a suburban garage where it had been stored for the last 10 years. We put fresh gasoline in the tank, installed a new battery and starter, examined the brakes, started it up and drove it eight (8) miles to my warehouse. We later drove it to a fine upholstery shop that installed a new white convertible top and boot. It is now ready to go cruising when the weather warms up.
According to the "Old Car Price Guide", I believe this car to be a # 3+. The only thing keeping it from a # 2 is a good cleaning, some sewing repair on the sun visors (seen in photos), and a better paint job. The car has one repaint, but it wasn't done by anyone I would have had do it. It's not terrible, but it also is not great. I am asking $32,500.00 for the car, which I believe to be a fair price since it would not require much to turn it into a $50,000.00 car. The way it is right now, it will turn a lot of heads at any cruise in and get a lot of thumbs up on the road.
