Up for sale is a 1971 Chevelle SS 2-door sport coupe with an original rust-free body, with the desirable RPO Z15 SS option and 454 CID big block V8 engine. The cowl induction hood option includes hood pins and black stripes on the hood and trunk. Everything on the car has been completely restored and is fully functional. This car will receive a complete inspection prior to delivery. Under the hood, the original big block was disassembled, bored .040" over, and rebuilt with Speed Pro pistons, Comp Cams LS6 camshaft, aluminum intake manifold, and Edelbrock carb. New internals are a fully balanced assembly. The exterior was repainted in the factory Cranberry Red, with new bumpers and trim. Inside, the interior was reupholstered in the original black including bucket seats, plus all new weatherstripping. All functions are present and working correctly, and the car runs and drives as new. All glass and chrome trim is present and in excellent condition. See the SPECS tab for more details.
