1987 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Silverado Description:

1987 Chevrolet Western Hauler equipped with a Fuel Injected 454 and TH400 transmission. Truck runs excellent and has zero drivability issues. Lots of new parts, which include a new A/C compressor and Dryer so naturally the truck has good cold air. I put a new steering box and power steering pump. The distributor, plugs and wires are new. The ECU is new and thetruck has brand new ceramic coated headers and totally new exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler. I put a new break master cylinder on and the breaks stop the truck with ease. I put a new thermostat and fan clutch in because I didn't want aheating issue. There is a new fuel pump and the truck only has 1tank. Truck has the standard bumper hitch and a gooseneck ball. Thisis a cab and chassis with a sweet flat bed that has two integrated tool boxes. The original stereo is still in it and it works. Hell I will even leave the Conway Twitty tapes for you old timers or nostalgic types. truck has plenty of tires to drive anyplace in the continental US. If you buy this truck you can drive it anyplace right now. I drive it weekly. This is a Western Hauler conversion truck so its pretty plush on the inside.

I used this truck to move from TX to SD and it had no issues pulling my 30 foot enclosed trailer full of house hold goods. This unit has zero rust because I bought it in Dallas TX right next to the Western Hauler Custom truck outfitter. This rig never left the state of Texas prior to my ownership. I am now in the cold state of SD and it lives in thegarage. I have the truck for sale local and reserve the right to end the auction early. known issues with the truck. The power windows need attention, the 2 front windows work fine but the rear windows move so slow that I neverput them down. The power door locks are inoperable as isthe cruise control. All the engine gauges work fine and the mileage is correct at 150k. The paint is ok for a driver but it was put ontoo thick and its showing its age. normal chips and scratches and a white spot in the hood where I took off a hideous hood scoop. small oil leak in the rear main. truck is never low on oil between the 2500 mile oil changes I do so I have not felt the need to fix it. seriously it leaves 2 drops overnight. the passenger seat has cracks in upholstery and I captured that in the photos.

Shipping is easy, you pay for it and I will get it coordinated. I can deliver but I have a full time job. If your flexible I can move it cheaper then you because I own a transport company. let me know what budget you have in mind and I will give you a honest assessment of what it will cost. but seriously just fly in to Rapid City airport and I will pick you up so you can go on a road trip.
