An all ORIGINAL, matching numbers, low mileage (26,836) L-82 Corvette. It is mechanically sound and ready to go anywhere. All functional parts are operational with no known problems.
The car is loaded with most of the important options available in 1979, including AM-FM stereo radio with 8-track cassette, dual rear speakers, removable mirrored glass roof panels, sport mirrors, front and rear spoilers, rear window defogger, power windows, power door locks, A/C (upgraded and blows cold), power antenna, cruise control, tilt-telescopic steering column, and more. Currently has an AM-FM, CD player installed but includes original AM-FM, 8 track unit for re-install if desired.
The car has always been kept in the Southeast Kansas and Southwest Missouri area. It was originally purchased in Pittsburg, Kansas at Bill Williams Chevrolet, then went to Joplin, Missouri and finally to the Branson, Missouri area.The current owner has stored the car in a climate controlled garage for the last 12 years. During this time, it has been driven an average of 250 miles per year - just enough to keep things well lubricated and operating properly. The car looks, runs, and drives like new. The current owner of the car is an auction analyst for Sports Car Market and American Car Collector magazines published by Keith Martin of the TV series What's My Car Worth? The owner rates this car a solid 2, which means that it is "Excellent: Club show worthy." It has won many local and regional awards in the Southwest Missouri region. He is selling the car to make room for another car in his collection.
