1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS X-66 Description:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS X-66 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS X-66, 575 miles, ALL NEW SHEETMETAL car and it had been painted with the correct DuPont, Daytona Yellow that was used in 1969 when I purchased it. Over 30k had been spent at the point I got the car. It was put on a Rotisserie so that all details could be done on the bottom so as to be as nice as the rest of the car. It has 4 coats of clear on it that was done after sheet metal was fitted. The car has at present 450 miles on it. It has a standard bore L-78, 396, 375 hp engine with original square port heads and the original Winters intake with a Holley 750 Double pumper carburetor. The car runs very strong. The cam, lifters, etc. have been changed to hydraulic (eliminating the constant adjustment of valves. The engine has approximately 2500 miles on it since being rebuilt, (kept it as standard bore). Transmission is a Muncie M-20, 4 speed, completely rebuilt and it has a 12 bolt rear end (non-posi), the gear is a 356 (2500 RPM at 60 MPH)? All new Old Air products A/C blows very cold and an all new front end makes car handle very well, with new disc brakes. It has Pypes 2 ¾ inch exhaust with factory correct exhaust manifolds and sounds great. It has all new glass, chrome and rubber. Virtually everything has been replaced or rebuilt. Inside, it has Hounds tooth covered seats with all new foam, etc. Seat frames were sandblasted and repaint as new. It has ALL new factory style wiring from AutoWire with correct gauges. When I got the car, it came to me mounted on a metal table with 6" wheels for rolling. It has a completely re-built front sub frame, all cleaned and painted. Cleaned and repainted rear end with all new leaf springs, brackets etc. All door and window hardware inside and out are new. New carpet with sound deadener insulation. Rolling on 17” American Racing wheels with Falken 235/45/17 front and 255/50/17 rear tires. There has been a ton of time involved in this build as you can imagine and it has turned out to be a very nice car. Rarely do you have the chance to own a car that is nearly 50 years old that is 95% new with a standard bore L-78 engine in it and a Muncie 4-speed.
