1966 Chevrolet Corvette Description:

Exceptionally nice, original and correct 1966 Corvette 2 top convertible equipped with the original and correct RPO L79 327/350 horse, 4 speed manual transmission, 3:70 posi traction differential, side mounted exhaust, real teak wood steering wheel, headrest seats, AM/FM radio and white wall radials mounted on the original steel wheels. This car retains nearly all of the original drive train components. The carburetor, intake, block, heads, exhaust manifolds, starter, alternator, distributor, transmission, differential, radiator, expansion tank, all the glass and seat belts are all number and date code correct. This car runs and drives as good as it looks. The wipers, radio, power antenna, heater/defroster, lights (inside and out) all work just like they're supposed to. The car was painted in 1981/1982 and still looks very nice but there are a few flaws. The soft top has a small tear in the passenger side (see photos) and the clock doesn't work. The chrome and stainless pieces parts are all very nice. The frame is exceptional. The bird cage is perfect. The car has exceptional fit. Compare the fit of the headlamp buckets and hood to about any other midyear you see here on ebay. This is an AO Smith bodied car delivered new to a dealer in Tennessee in December of 1965. I have copies of titles back to the original MSO. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country. Shipping is the buyers responsibility.
