1964 Chevrolet Impala Description:

Here is a nice 64 Impala wagon for sale. This car gets a lot of attention. Clear title, runs and drives nice. Has 18/20 Coy wheels with newer tires. Has an LT1 with an 4L60 from a 96 Impala SS. Windows roll up and down nicely. Power rear window works perfect. Air ride goes up and down smoothly. Doors, hood and tailgate open and shut smoothly. Use to have a luggage rack on the roof but has been gone a few owners now. Rolls, steers and stops nice. Still has the factory drum brakes on it.
Needs: transmission needs changed from electronic to mechanical speedometer cable adapter. Speedometer does not work because of this. Or go with Dakota Digital gauges. Has a floor shifter in it but I have the conversion for 4L60 to Powerglide adapter to go back to shifting on the column. Has a brand new headliner with painted bows and windlace that goes with it. Needs carpet, seat covers and new padded dash. Exhaust is cut off at rear end and needs directed away from the car.
There are some dents and dings. Pictures show the driver side rear quarter, passengers side rear quarter behind rear wheel and passenger door. That is the major damage to the car. Paint is faded or worn, Patina. Was told its original paint other than the hood. Rear tail light molding is beat up and needs replaced. $28 each new. Car can be picked apart all you want. It has a killer look, restore or drive it and enjoy it!
