Exterior: - White paint is original, aside from the hood and driver front fender, as confirmed with an elcometer. - Blemishes include small ding on hood, dent on driver front fender, touched-up scratches on driver mirror and passenger rear quarter, as well as touched-up chips on lower driver rear quarter. See video. - Black and red pinstripe - Crack at bottom corner of windshield on driver’s side - T-tops are in great shape. Easy to remove and put back on. A one man job. Interior: - Red Conteur bucket seats, red carpeting - Driver’s side seat has two small tears, one on the outer portion of the seat bottom, the other on the outer side of the headrest. Passenger seat is in really nice shape, though the outer bolster seam is a bit wavy. - Backseat in great shape - All gauges are functional, as are power locks, power windows, rear defroster, wipers and wiper sprayers, all interior lights, lights and signals. - Radio, radio controls, and all speakers are functional. However there is some sort of antenna-related issue, so AM/FM stations are just static. - Both air conditioning and blower are not functioning - A set of black floor mats will come with the car Under the Hood / Underbody: - The underbody is quite good. Very minor surface rust, absolutely no through rust. - Floors and rockers in very good shape - Charger HR tires at all four corners show no dry rot or damage. 75% tread remaining up front, more like 50% in the rear. - Original 305cid V8 and automatic transmission with overdrive. 96,486 miles. Runs and drives very well. Starts right up first turn, idles cool and steady, pulls through the gears smoothly, brakes and tracks straight, and sounds great. Overall, this ‘85 IROC-Z is a solid, mechanically well-sorted, driver-level example in the fantastic colorway of white over red.
