1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Convertible Description:

Original 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS convertible authentic super sport. Original 327/300 hp block # T0330 SS indicates 327/300 with power glide transmission which is also original to the car as well as the 3:08 10 bolt posi rear.Cowl tag :05C = 3rd week of mayStyle 64-5867= Malibu SS 2dr convertibleKC = Kansas CityTrim 722= aqua interiorBody paint 9181= Azure aqua/white topW2MS= tint windshield,2 speed power glide, rear antenna.Frame off rotisserie restoration completed 6 years/7400 miles ago. Original 327 bored .030 ove, balanced and built to spec with correct cam/pistons. Orgininal 194 fuelie heads were rebuilt using stainless valves as well as hardened guides and seats. Original power glide and rear were rebuilt with necessary parts and seals. Brand new wiring harness complete front to rear. Stainless steel brake/ fuel line, 4 wheel drum brakes. Power steerin, power brakes and power top. Tilt steering wheel, 2 speed wipers. Bucket seats with console. Frame and under carriage were stripped and treated with POR15. Every nut/bolt/body mount/ bushing was replaced. This car is a real pleasure to drive, cruises 70 mph at 2300 rpm and holds a steady 180 degrees. Body is solid and straight. Driver side door color is slightly off due to a scratch repair which was not blended properly. I will include a new gallon of Azure Aqua for repaint. I was going to wait to repaint the car this winter because I wanted to enjoy the season and the car is still very presentable. Both sets of wheels/tires can be included in the sale . Original restored 14"wheels/SS hub caps with bias ply white walls as well as 18x8 and 18x9 American Racing torque thrust SL (smooth lip) wheels (rims were $400 each) . With New 245/40-18 Bridgestone Pole Position tires. Will also include original 300 hp cast intake manifold. Car is stock except for Edelbrock performer EPS manifold and Edelbrock thunder avs 650 carb. I do not have the original carburetor .
