Red 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. VIN 194675S119300. Odometer reads 48,604 (actual mileage cannot be verified). Equipped with a 327ci V8 engine (non-matching numbers) and a 4 speed manual transmission. The engine runs strong, has plenty of power. It sounds very good through the chrome sidepipes. The transmission shifts good and clutch feels spot on. This Corvette is equipped with manual steering and brakes. The car has a light feel and you actually forget it doesn`t have power steering while you`re driving it. The brakes work good and stop the car fine. The radial tires have plenty of tread and lots of miles left in them. The car has an older repaint that has a nice shine - upon closer inspection, you`ll find a few areas that are showing age, but overall the car looks fantastic. The body does not appear to have any prior collision damage - it looks good but there are a couple very minor stress fractures and one small crack in the taillight area (nothing abnormal for an unrestored 52 year old Corvette). The interior (and gauge cluster) is from a 1964. It`s in good condition, not fresh and pristine, but shows well. The convertible top is in new condition and fits nicely. Overall - this is a good, solid, driver quality mid-year Corvette that`s priced to sell.
