This true American classic has been perfectly restored to factory specifications with original material used inside and out. The 4-speed transmission responds great with no hesitation driving straight.

The Roman Red paint has miles deep luster that make it seem alive and the white painted coves really add a touch of elegance to the look of the car. The matching red interior will make you feel like you have gone back in time to 1960 as it is in showroom condition. The white vinyl soft top is in pristine condition as it has no tears and the plastic rear window is clear, The fiberglass body does not bear any cracks nor stress marks do to its favorable sustentation and attention to detail. The chrome and trim is simply immaculate and has been very well taken care of! No dings, marks or signs of mishandling

She was 100% perfectly restored ten years ago and stayed in a climate-controlled facility where it was up kept and serviced on a daily basis from our in house mechanic. This car comes packed with many different features including Edelbrock performance intake manifold, Accel HEI ignition system, Chrome valve covers and air cleaner, 4-barrell Edelbrock carburetor, Generator with tach output, Original Wonderbar AM radio, Factory center console clock, Fiberglass tonneau cover, red carpet and Firestone wide white wall tires.

The drive is nothing short of exhilarating and never fails to put chills all over your body. She drives with roaring power and at the same time drives straight and true with no hesitation and smooth acceleration. It’s also worth mentioning that 1960 was the last year that Chevrolet produced their Corvette with through bumper dual exhaust with chrome trumpet tips. It is a beautiful work of craftsmanship that any classic car collector would be proud to add to their collection!

HISTORY:

This classic car enthusiast/collector set out in the sixties to change his life in the Sunshine state of California. He started his passion with cars at that time by managing several gas stations for the Shell Oil Company. Later the opportunity to purchase his own station and be an owner operator he cashed in all his chips and bought his first station.

He turned his passion into a hobby of collecting classic cars in the early 90's. He attended auctions around the country purchasing many cars he remembered in his childhood as well as from his father’s in the 30's. He was a stickler for buying and maintaining the integrity of STOCK vehicles and prided himself to having OEM cars etc. He grew his collection to well over 30 vehicles in a short period of time and enjoyed buying them and enjoying them. He was very honest and enjoyed fixing them and maintaining them himself as a hobbyist and enthusiast at the same time.

He also had a full time mechanic and maintenance guy that kept them in pristine condition. The cars have never seen the rain since he owned them and have been stored inside his climate controlled warehouse and babied each one like they deserved. He belonged to several clubs like the fabulous T-bird club and Model A club and spent time socializing and telling stories on weekends with young and old alike.

He prided himself on taking care of these beautiful pieces of American history and he enjoyed them tremendously. The vehicles have been bought and or restored in perfect factory condition with as much original equipment that allows for this time period and a quick look at this entire collection you will see the fine examples which could carryover into any automotive museum that could house any one of these fine vehicles.

The car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time before the end of the auction. We do not have a Buy It Now Price listed.

The car will be made available for inspection by serious bidders throughout the auction. Please e-mail us if you would like to see the car. If you prefer, we can arrange to have a qualified, independent, professional mechanic perform a pre-purchase inspection for you (at your expense).

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL AS A FORM OF PAYMENT. THIS IS TRUE FOR BOTH THE INITIAL DEPOSIT AS WELL AS THE FINAL PAYMENT.

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00deposit is due within 48 hours of end of auction. The deposit can be made by cash (please do not mail cash!), bank check, cashier's check, or bank transfer (preferred). The remainder is due within 10 days of Auction end. The remaining balance must be made in the form of a bank transfer (preferred) Cashier'scheck, or bank check (all forms of payment subject to verification). PayPal will not be accepted as a form of payment for either the deposit or the final payment. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Please arrange financing prior to bidding. Once the final balance has been paid, title transfer paperwork will be initiated.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate, and you can locate shippers by doing a search for “auto shippers”. We have relationships with both domestic and international shippers should you need some assistance.
