1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Description:

This is an awesome 1978 Z28 Camaro with very low miles 27,370 as of today and documented on the Virginia title "Actual" with 26,675 as of Feb 2017, along with several repair receipts I will list later from reputable businesses.I am only parting with this car because I can't take it with me when I move for my job. It runs great, rolls without vibration and shifts great. It has a current vehicle inspection as of this past April 2017. I drive it to the occasional car show and run it around to keep the battery charged and to keep everything going. The interior, engine, and transmission are original with minor repairs made over the years. This car will be 40 years old next month according to its build date. The color is is yellow orange and was only sold on the Z28, of which only 2,311 were made in this color and it is an automatic. It has the custom cloth interior that is in great shape for the time. There is no known vehicle crashes associated with it and all of the panels line up. The previous owner said they had the vehicle repainted with the original color in the early 2000s (01-03) with the original graphics. The only repair to the body he knew of, was the bottom of the passenger front fender was dented from below from running off a curb. All of the known rust spots for this vehicle are clear of rust or decay.
What I can tell you about this Z28, is I purchased it from a family friend who was the second owner and he was given the vehicle from the original owner in late 1990's to 2001. I have receipts from 2002 until now from a Chevy dealer, Jiffy Lube and a couple other vehicle repair businesses documenting the repairs made and the milage at the time. I also have two Virginia Inspection Station sheets (2014, 2017) documenting the milage. This vehicle has not been hot taken apart, hot rodded and aside from the very good paint job and minor repairs made to it to keep it safe, it is the way it came from the factory.
This vehicle has always been running, just not too many miles some years. I drove it home 140 miles when I picked it up and had no issues and have not had a problem. This vehicle came with power windows, power locks (pass side works always, driver side will not always work), tilt wheel, am/fm radio with the optional speaker in the rear deck (works and sounds good), cruise control (not working, needs new actuator $75), bucket seats, 350 V8, auto trans, custom tan cloth interior, spare saver tire (missing air filler bottle and jack base, full spare and jack provided), clock (not working), tachometer, temp gauge, fuel gauge, volt meter, tinted glass windshield, pass side mirror, console, rear spoiler, power brakes (disk front, drum rear), power assist steering, turbine key color matching 15" rims, windshield type antenna and the interior decor and sound package.
Minor things for the picky people like myself that I would like you to know before you consider buying. The front driver's side lower bumper has some cracking in paint and has had a sealer put on it to keep it at bay. The driver's door has chipped paint at the open edge of the door where the previous owner rubbed it against the garage wall (no denting). The windshield has some scratching from the windshield wiper (not deep) and can be buffed according to a glass shop is spoke with. There are a couple of minor scratches on the front nose, but the rest of the paint is superb. Some of the plastic trim in the backseat area shows the typical old rub/fade marks of 40 year old plastic.

Wire transfer of the remaining funds is the preferred method of payment.
