1967 Chevy Camaro 383 -5 speed

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Description:

67 Camaro SS clone, Black with red interior. 18 inch Boyd Coddington alloy rims. It looks good, runs good and has had hundreds of hours of work performed to get it to the state its in now.

Body and frame is straight the body was sanded down to bare metal and has no rust, even in the usual places, inner and outer quarter panels have been replaced.

Paint looks good, it has a brilliant shine and mirror like reflections, if you look closely you can find a few flaws, but overall it looks great.

Engine: Recently rebuilt 383 stroker .040 over - 4 bolt main block. New aluminum heads 210 cc runners, 64cc chambers/ new valves / springs / pushrods etc. roller rockers, timing chain, balancer, New coil and Pertronix electronic distributor, energy suspension motor mounts, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Edelbrock carb. Rhodes V3 hydraulic lifters, the Howards cam (488/.509 LIFT .235/.243 DURATION @.050" LOBE SEP: 112)

It runs really strong, runs on pump gas, is reliable, i drive it as often as weather permits. The bigger cam glass packs and headers give it a great sound and an awesome rumble.

Transmission: This car has a 5 speed T56 transmission. It shifts perfectly and has great overdrive gears. you can cruise down the freeway at 1800 rpm. It makes a huge difference in a car like this.

Interior is new: New front and back seats, upholstery and new seat foam professionally installed, new carpet, front and rear door panels. Dynamat sound deadener installed in floors, doors and other interior surfaces.

Front suspension has been rebuilt, the car has drum brakes. Lots of other new parts. Clean title in hand.

In the interest of full disclosure there are a few items that I’m still working on. There is a piece of trim around the rear windshield that i misplaced and the windshield has a crack. the windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced and the washers need to be installed (have parts to do this that are included). The fan belt needs to be adjusted because sometimes it squeaks after about 3,500 rpm.
