Resto-mod in its truest form! This car literally looks like a 1948 Chevy as it left the factory but it is fitted with a fuel injected Vortec 5.7 engine 700R-4 overdrive automatic power brakes and power rack & pinion steering. You wouldn't know by looking at it. Even the original 3-speed manual shifter lever is adapted to the automatic. This is not a "hot rod". It is an authentically restored original with updated driveline for tremendously improved performance reliability and safety. Other upgrades would include an aluminum radiator with electric fan 12-volt system with alternator and modern fuses turn signalsseat belts and radial white wall tires. Underneath is very clean. The exhaust and gas tank is new suspension looks good has an updated 10 bolt rear end. The car is beautiful. Body is super clean and straight with a high quality paint. Has a mirror reflection. Chrome sparkles bright all of the glass is excellent. Inside the car is fantastic. Reupholstered and recushioned seats. Dash area steering wheel radio handles look great. Door panels headliner carpet are excellent. The faux wood grain is really nice. Clean original trunk compartment. Has full owner history going back to the woman in Oregon that bought it new.
