about | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is a 1 owner commercial fleet lease truck that we've been using as our shop truck for the last year or so. Most of the custom work was done recently including wheels and tires which are new. The truck is a regular cab long box 4x4, in a 3/4 ton light duty with 6x.5.5 axles. It's a rare 4x4 shop truck, which you generally don't see but we're here in Colorado so it makes sense. The truck has been tastefully done up with paint to match bumper, steel roll pan, and finished in Sahara Tan from a 2012 Jeep Wrangler paint code. The paint was done in base/clear, color sanded, and buffed, and we added a Line-X spray in bed liner. This truck isn't perfect, it's made to be used, but it's really sharp looking and everyone loves it. We have more into it than asking, but feel it's a fair price and we're hoping it makes a good new home.

The paint and body on this pickup are in nice shape. It was stripped and painted about 6 months ago, color sanded and buffed and then the line-x bed liner done. The windshield is new. The wheels and tires are new 24" and they don't rub at all. This truck is what you'd call either a light duty 3/4 ton or a heavy 1/2. It has a heavier payload package then the 1/2 ton and is technically a 3/4 ton, so you should be able to put a good deal of weight in the bed. The truck is very clean but not immaculate. There's a little ding below the right tail light where the tailgate came loose and rubbed on the corner for a few miles. This is the only 'damage' It's been touched up and looks fine. The tailgate bushings were missing for a while so the paint is scratched and touched up on top of the roll pan and there's a small crack in the seam on the left side. The truck has had the grille repainted and it looks presentable but not show quality. The paint is excellent, nice and glossy, and jambs look nice. The bed liner was taped off when the paint was too fresh and consequently we had to have the top 3" of the bed repainted afterwards, you can see the line, but a good body guy can sand and buff that out, paint is from the same batch and it'll match perfect. The tail lights have been tinted and again, look 'ok'. The bed is in nice shape. There was no body rust on the truck when the paint was done, it's a western states truck and doesn't have any significant filler anywhere, again, we painted it about 6 months ago so you can see everything.

The cabin is clean as well. It was a ranchers truck so it actually still smells a little country inside which is novel. I don't think it's ever been smoked in. We stripped the interior out, removed door panels, carpet, re-upholstered the seat, put in new carpet with new padding, replaced the door panels which were shot, and put on new factory arm rests. The door cards are from an earlier model, so there's some quickly trimmed bits around the door handles that look decent but not show. I couldn't find any later model door cards that were in nice shape at the time. The air blows cold, stereo is factory and not great. We're leaving that up to you. Everything else works, windows are tinted with 3m and should be legal.

This truck has been through our shop and had a fair amount gone through. We resealed the oil pan, did the trans pan gasket, changed oil, filter, the belt tensioner, belt, changed oil, filter, charged the a/c with R134, and fixed a handful of other things. The hood release on the inside still needs a handle, the trans shifts fine but it has a shift kit, at very low cruising speeds you can feel it shift through the gears. It's not that obvious but it's not a caddy. It's never slipped at all for us and doesn't bang. The 4x4 works fine, may need valve cover gaskets at some point. It's a very solid truck with decent mileage, easy to work on and should be good for years to come. misc
