Offered for sale is our 1951 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. It is the desirable "five window" model. This was my wife's 40th birthday present. We have enjoyed our truck, but need to make room for another vehicle as our son will be turning 16. And, we just don't drive it enough to justify keeping it.
The truck is a real head turner. This is NOT a "numbers matching" truck. The power plant/ drive train is from a '66 Nova. It is a straight 6 cylinder with a three speed automatic transmission. It is for sale locally as well. We installed three point seat belts and new wipers. The wood bed is gorgeous and always draws a lot of attention. It is sound mechanically. However, it has been recommended to us that disc brakes should be installed. The existing brakes work as intended. The beauty of this truck is that it looks like an "all original" '51, but doesn't have the numbers matching pricetag. We are sad to see it go, but have to make space in the garage for a new car.
