For years Burroughs encouraged the owners of excellent original Corvettes to forego their restoration and carefully preserve the original integrity of the vehicle. Cars that are awarded the Bloomington Gold Survivor Award are only the extreme originals that serve as educational benchmarks for Corve...tte restorers. A very small percentage of Corvettes ave been preserved for that very purpose and have received Survivor status. Built in June of 1964 the car is one of 3454 finished in popular Daytona Blue matched with a black interior. At just over 58000 miles the car retains its factory original paint and original interior both with wonderful patina.
