1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description:
For Sale - My beautiful 1955 custom Bel Air. This Bel Air has about 2500 miles on her since restoration, a little less but I will be driving and enjoying her on weekends until it sells. Color is a awesome Chevy turquoise blue with white. The paint looks amazing, tons of depth and shine.
She has a 350 V8 crate motor with a mild cam, she does have a nice lope sound to her, not too crazy but enough to know she performs. Edlebrock intake and 650 carb with Hooker long tube headers and magnaflow exhaust. Tranny is a turbo 350 3spd automatic transmission with a mild shift kit, she will chirp second gear. 12 bolt rear end, 4 wheel disc brake conversion, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt steering wheel. Car is ready for AC, AC compressor and lines installed and is brand new never used, I have most parts including the extra right and left corner vents that are painted to match I just haven't had the need for AC out here, new owner can get it going for a very little effort and cost.
Most glass has been replaced, interior is in great shape in a combination white vinyl and a turquoise blue tweed. Dash is painted to match car with a great clear coat and depth. Radio is a new school am/fm with cassette with old school looks. Cigarette lighter is original and works. The window cranks are all new and work well as does the corner vent windows. Carpet is a lighter gray.

This is a 5 year old frame off restoration and has been in storage for last 4 years. Paint has a few chips here and there but nothing major. Car was taken out of storage and into shop for safety checks etc, this was done on 8/24/17 - Replaced the power brake master cylinder, Timing cover kit, oil pan gasket, oil pan drain plug, flushed coolant, installed vibration damper sleeve, changed oil, serviced differential, and replaced fuel sender plus gasket. This Bel Air is ready for its new owner
The car is a runner, runs very strong, she drives laser straight, Just put on the 17" American Racing Torque thrust wheels wrapped in BFG fronts are 235 45 R17 and rears are 275 40 R17's all with about 400 miles on them.
This car looks like a show car and can be shown anywhere with pride this is not a 20 footer. This Bel Air looks just as good close up. She was built to drive not sit as a garage queen. I have driven her on the highway to all the local shows and gatherings on the weekends at speeds of 65 to 75mph with ease, she runs very cool normally at 190 to 195 degrees even around town in traffic, there are ZERO leaks anywhere - no oil, no coolant, no rear end, no tranny fluid no brake fluid, no fluid leaks at all. The car is dialed in perfectly and very very reliable. Starts right up every time Trunk is painted and cleared and looks terrific
