1951 Chevrolet California truck now in Massachusetts!
We have gone threw this trucks drive-train. Here is a list of what we have done:
Engine tune upNew chock and throttle cablesNew headlight switchNew BrakesNew wheel cylNew masters for both the brakes and clutchNew tires and tubesDrive shaft has been serviced ( Taken apart and cleaned and serviced)New Wiring harness. ( rear tail lights wiring need to be installed)
We have not yet installed:
New headlinerDrivers side glass ( in box )other new parts in boxes
Truck needs a new exhaust to complete the package. We removed it when we serviced the rear end.
This is a truck for the purist owners. It is all original drive-train with the upgraded 235 motor. This is a California truck that we purchased for our shop truck. Another truck came up. (66 C10) that we felt fit in better as we restore vintage trailers. We needed more power with the 327 in the 66 c10.Because we went with another direction for our shop truck. We have now decided to offer our 1951 Chevrolet Deluxe truck up for sale.We have the title in hand. This is a drive able truck once a new exhaust is installed.
This truck has a great patina and that is the main reason we purchased the truck. The cab has great cab corners. Check out the photos. This truck is offered for the amount we currently have into it.
