1962 Chevrolet Impala Description:

Up for auction is our beautiful original 62 Impala Sedan. This car was sold new in Colorado Springs at Daniels Chevrolet and is a two owner car since new.

The second owner purchased the car in the early 1990’s. He was a college professor and a member of NCRS (National Corvette Restores Society). He drove the car sparingly and maintained it to the highest of standards. Several years ago the engine and transmission were removed and fully rebuilt with all new parts and detailed to factory specs. Under the hood is very well done. The engine sounds great and runs like a top with no noises or leaks of any kind. Same goes for the transmission, rear differential and suspension/brakes. This car runs and drives absolutely like new. It is a numbers matching Power Pack 283 with power steering, power brakes and Factory A/C that has been all rebuilt and converted to 134A. The A/C works perfect and feels great on a hot summer day.

The exterior of this car is stunning. The paint has been professionally redone once and is in super condition, it is finished in the original color of Surf Green. The bright work is all original and super nice. All original glass that is pit free and nearly flawless. Inside the trunk is all original and perfect (not a single rust spot). The spare is a radial whitewall tire with all of the original jack hardware. The wheels are also all original and have new white wall radial tires with amazing condition hubcaps.

The interior of this car is amazing. It has factory power seat and power windows. The seats have been recovered in original materials and look brand new. The door panels and headliner are original and look perfect. The carpet is also all original and super nice, It has always had rubber floor mats that have kept the carpet like new. The dash in this car shows almost no wear and is beautiful, all of the gauges are crisp and clean, the controls and switches are all working and feel like new. Everything on and inside this car works perfect; lights, horn, wipers, turn signals, hi-low beam, speedo, gauge function, etc etc…

Inside the glove compartment is all of its original owners manuals, warranty booklet, original keys. This car is truly a Time Capsule!

The undercarriage is clean and rust free. The frame and suspension have many of its original paint marking and the floors are still red oxide with only the factory undercoating.

The miles are believed to be 76,000 actual.
