Up for sale by long time private owner! First time ever offered on Ebay."Where were you in '62"1962 CHEVROLET IMPALA SUPER SPORT 2 door hardtop coupe. Yes, this is an original Roman Red Super Sport. This car underwent a complete restoration over 20 years ago and has been kept in a climate controlled garage since. Only taken out for car shows, cruises and church. Adult owned and driven and absolutely stunning lacquer paint job. Not basecoat clearcoat or enamel but true lacquer wet sanded and buffed to perfection over a arrow straight body done by none other than Chuck Baird of Custom Auto Body in Assumption, IL.and still looks deeper than most base/clear coat jobs today. The trunk lid was not latched in the picture from behind. Trunk lid and all body panels fit and finish is beautiful.Factory Red bucket seat interior in excellent condition as again it was completely redone. The car was restored utilizing a brand new 350 built by Bob Kamp of K-Motion racing engines out of Lafayette, Indianaand the original powerglide automatic transmission. Car runs and drives super and turns lots of heads everywhere it goes.Car is also a factory air conditioned car however all the a/c stuff is not on the car. Also comes with factory hubcaps. Car has just been put up for sale locally so we do reserve the right to stop and/or end auction at any time.
