1946 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description:

This is a 1946 Chevrolet Pickup that has new suspension and drive train. Rear is a triangulated 4 link with a ford 9" with 373 gears with chrome coil over shocks. All bearings and seals were replaced. Front Suspension is a Heidts coil spring shock set up which is all new with tubular upper and lower control arms powder coated black. Entire frame is boxed.16" US Mag wheels and new tires.Four wheel power disc brakes, power steering rack and pinion. Motor is a 402 Big Block with all the good stuff, Icon forged pistons, Eagle rods, solid cam and lifters 192 cam. all new valves and valves springs, roller rockers, moly push rods,900 CFM Holley carb, new mini high torque starter, new alternator and new aluminum water pump. nothing cheap in this motor and it runs strong. Oil Pressure is excellent. Transmission is a turbo 400 stage 2 good up to 1200 HP with 3200RPM stall torque converter. $10,000 in engine and transmission alone. This is 71 years of Patina on this truck. I didn't touch the paint just welded up some cracks and pounded out some dents. Very little rust except in running boards. Solid truck. All new glass and Windows operate as they should. Glued in two piece winsheild. Truck only has 300 miles on it since built. All new wiring front to back with modern fuse box. Electric pusher fan in front of radiator, new aluminum radiator. 16 gallon Budweiser keg gas tank in back of truck. Electric fuel pump on frame rail. Chrome tilt steering column with custom steering wheel and with all working lights including flashers. Halogen head lights. Just came form a car show and this was the people magnet. They were walking past perfect cars to come look at my rat rod. This truck drives down the road like a new truck and steers perfect. Lots of HP but runs on pump gas. I run premium in it. It has 12" mufflers and pipes but is plenty loud. I haven't roasted the tires but it will!
