I bought a brand new, yellow L79 Chevelle in 1965.I was 19.The car was stolen 6 months later.I’ve had lots of Chevelles over the years; but I’ve kept a lookout for a yellow 65 California car that I could bring back.This is it.No, it is not the one I lost; but it feels the same to me.

This is not the original drive train.I found a complete L79 motor (F0401EC) and dropped it in.I added the Muncie four speed with Hurst linkage.It drives wicked good.
