The 1958 Impala whose body style was only introduced for one year is considered by some to be the pinnacle of style achievement of all 50's Chevys.
This gorgeous automotive specimen was inherited by a family that wanted to pass it on to someone who could appreciate the masterpiece that their father had created.
The car left the showroom with it's original 348 250HP big block and was later fitted with an era correct Rochester Tri-Power carbs, intake manifold as well as a Turbo 400 Automatic transmission. High quality, polished aluminum billet treatment was received by air cleaners, valve covers, braided hoses, complete pulley assembly, electric fan and power front disc brake booster.
Performance mods include mild cam, electronic ignition, Power Steering, Doug's header, dual Flowmaster exhaust with dual chrome side tips. Wheels are billet 17" American Racing and tires are fresh Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals; 245/45/17 Front and 275/40/17 Rear.
The paint is a near flawless Coral Pastel with white top. The body is super straight with no evidence of any accident or body filler. This car has ZERO RUST. Chrome and trim are excellent.
Upholstery, carpet, door panels, dash, visors are all new. Car is fitted with Vintage Air and blows ice cold.
It runs, shifts and handles beautifully. There are no clunks, rattles or weird noises. Suspension and front end are tight as a drum. It goes straight down the road and does not get hot.This car does not need to be brought to the next level, it is already at the next level.
