1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Description:

1964 Chevrolet CORVAIR Monza **CONVERTIBLE** automatic

EXTERIOR:

The Corvair has a very straight body that appears to be solid and rust free. The paint is holding up well and doesn’t have any major flaws. The doors, hood and trunk all open and close with ease and the windows are all in great shape. The convertible top looks to be newer, goes up and down easily and is in great shape overall. The wheels/caps and tires are ready for the road.

INTERIOR:

The interior is very presentable with no major flaws in the upholstery. The door panels are showing a little wear, but the seats and carpet are in excellent shape. The gauges all seem to work and all of the original switchgear and trim is intact.

MECHANICAL:

The 164 flat 6 whirs right along and makes decent power that is consistent with other Corvairs I have driven. The automatic transmission shifts firmly and without any trouble. You hardly notice the steering and brakes being manual as they are very easy to operate and functional. The four carburetors have been rebuilt and are ready for action.
