1968 chevy Impala big block number matching

1968 Chevrolet Impala Description:

As found. 1968 Chevy Impala Custom. It's a 396 big block, TH 400 transmission, 12 bolt posi rear. It is an original red with black interior car. The car is number matching. All I have done to the car is get it running and check the transmission. I pulled the plugs ( wires fell apart in my hands) the car has been sitting for decades. I put a scope in the cylinders they looked great so I Lubes them up and hand rotated the engine. replaced the plugs installed new wires, points, condenser, cap rotor. Unhooked the tank put it to an alternate fuel supply primed her and she fired right up. No noise or strange sounds idled within about 15 seconds. Put it on stands and ran it through all the gears seemed to perform as it should. It has no brakes they are power drum. The left front was stuck it is now mostly free with some drag still it may become better by pickup but it does roll. The car will need restoration including floor pans and some lower rear quarter work. The trunk lid has some rust on the underside lip and would probably be easier to replace the rest should be usable .As stated the car has no brakes needs restoration and is not road worthy. If you are looking for a matching numbers big block 68 Impala then she could be for you . Clear title in hand. Sold as is. Inspections are welcome.
