1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups Black Description:

Look at this beauty-- Two Tone Color-- 3rd owner in excellent condition-- 6 volt--

In the past two years our mechanic did the following:

replaced timing gear set, resealed front cover, oil pan gasket, distributor, and repainted engine after cleaning, Replaced spark plugs, bulbs in dash, made bushings for wiper motor, repaired power wire and connected for good ground. Installed customer radio & antenna, brake cables, replaced real wheel cylinder, brake shoes and brake drums. Replaced headlight switch and 6 volt headlights. Installed a new 6 volt battery.

Fixed oil leak under the transmissionarea by removing the draft shaft tube assembl, repaired broken bolt @ bell, replaced bushingand seal, machined yoke for correct seal & reassembled. Removed pinion yoke & repaired speedy sleeve. sealed threads & splines. Filled with gear oil and checked for leaks.

This is the heavy duty truck-- not a lightweight!Repair bills in the Truck by a local mechanic.
