1970 Cadillac DeVille DeVille Convertible Description:

NO RESERVEUp for NO RESERVE is a 1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible in excellent condition. It is Corinthian Blue (Color Code 24) with original white leather (Code 353, White Leather, Blue Rugs) and White Convertible Top (Code J). Original spare is still present and in excellent condition (One Year Only Tire, L78 Dual Stripe).
BODYBody is in excellent condition with no rust. The car was painted many years ago and has held up very well. There is slight blushing of the paint although it has a lot of shine. Panels are straight with no cracking or bare spots. Chrome is in excellent condition with a few very small imperfections that are not large enough to be visible in the pictures. There is a slight dent in the left rear bumper end that is not particularly visible in photos. There are a few slight door dings that are not visible in pictures and not through the paint. Grille is excellent. Bright work is excellent. Door handles are excellent.
ENGINEEngine is in excellent running condition. Transmission shifts smoothly and trans oil in red. Engine oil is clear. No engine noises. Suspension is sound. Exhaust is new and correct. There is very slight sweating on the underside, not leaks, but sweating. Idle is extremely smooth and acceleration is smooth with no hesitation.
INTERIORInterior is totally original with no tears, slight stretching that is undetectable in pictures. Door panels and dash are excellent as well as steering wheel. Original rugs are in excellent condition. Power 6-Way seat works well as well as all power windows and power convertible top.
TRUNKTrunk is in excellent original condition. The cardboards are original (NOT reproductions). Original one year only spare (L78 15) is in very good condition. Original jack is present. Trunk rubber is excellent.
OPTIONSThe car is equipped with AM-FM Stereo, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel, Right Side Mirror, Door Locks, Door Edge Guards, Floor Mats and Climate Control. AC blows cold and works in all modes, but doesn't hold charge. AC has been converted to R134A. There is a freon leak in the evaporator. All other components are functioning well. Owner's manual in original envelope.
UNDERCARRIAGEUndercarriage is in very good to excellent condition with only surface rust present.

I would urge anyone interested to view the car in person. I have attempted to describe this car as accurately as I could, but different people can see the same thing differently. I will make every attempt to accommodate viewing the car.
NEGATIVES
Although the paint has a shine and has fared well with no cracks, chips or dents, it is approximately 25 years oldand could use a compounding due to slight blushing, not visible in pictures. There are some door dings that are also not visible in pictures, but do not go through the paint. The AC blows cold when charged, but doesn't hold a charge due to a leak in the evaporator (new one included with car). The chrome has a few small imperfections that aren't visible in pictures.
POSITIVESOriginal interior is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or separations. The engine idles very smoothly and accelerates with no hesitation. Transmission shifts very smoothly. All accessories work perfectly. Original spare in trunk. Trunk cardboards are excellent. Engine compartment is excellent. No rust. Glass is excellent
