1982 Cadillac Seville Description:

This is a 1982 Cadillac Seville on sale. I bought this car 10 years ago in a very poor condition. The car needed a lot of the interior parts, so I purchased the same exact car just for the parts. The Cadillac Seville was re-built the right way, which was expensive. From the beginning I changed the fuel pump, radiator, all break system (4 calipers, master cylinder, flexible hoses, rotors and pads), all belts, water pump, timing chain. Also, a full tune up was done to the car. The carpet inside the car was replaced by a new one. The floor underneath the carpet looked clean and in good condition but I cleaned it and also painted it, just in case. The engine and the transmission both work very well. Engine doesn't over heat and the transmission works smoothly. 95% of all the parts in this car are original parts. About 8-9 years ago, the Cadillac was painted and the paint still looks really good although there are two places where there is rust and also one little scratch (as seen in picture). I still have both of the paint colors for any touch up. Fabric roof is still in good condition but I do recommend hand washing it. The front hood has a limited edition grill which is really hard to find. I added a Chevrolet Camaro wheels to this car because they look nice. I fixed and painted the wheels on the left side of the car, but I still didn't do that to the other side, although I still have the paint to do so. The wheels are in average condition. If you do not like these wheels, you can always switch them to the original ones. They are easy to find and I also have the original wheel covers. Everything in this car runs perfectly with the exception of the radio and AC. I left the original radio in the car because it looks good and it shows the time, but it doesn't work. I was planning on adding a new and addition CD radio below the dashboard or inside the glove box. It also needs speakers and an antenna. The original speakers are installed but they are not plugged in and I never got the chance to see how they work. There is space for the antenna in the front right fender ( as seen in picture). The problem with the AC is that it works for about a week after filling it up with gas, I checked it out and found out that the AC compressor is leaking, meaning that the compressor must be changed. The trunk opens up electronically or manually with the key as well as through the "pull up" system. The trunk seal is brand new. Rear suspension is regulated and the air valve is located behind the rear license plate ( as seen in picture). I have changed all the door seals so there is no humidity in the car. Also, no one ever smoked in the car so all you can smell is the leather. The leather seats are in excellent condition with the exception of the passenger seat, which has a tiny rupture that was caused long time ago. The seats could be controlled electronically and work in every position. The power windows and the power door lock all work properly. This care has very nice custom made door panels as well as custom made headliner. The headliner does not look too good so if you do not like it, then you have to make a new one. I have installed DVD player for all passengers traveling in the back seat. Harness from the DVD is pulled to the dashboard and is ready to be plugged in to the radio. I also have other spare parts. Driving this Cadillac was a pleasure, unfortunately when I've bought my first house, I never find time to take care about him any more. It is hard to say goodbye to this car but it would be better off with someone else rather than standing in my driveway not used. This car is 36 years old so it is a historic car. On the QQ plates, you do not have to pay to renew the registration and you also do not have to get an inspection. All you need to do is pay once for the registration and the plates. For the insurance, I pay $200 a year. The Insurance Company that I have does not care how many miles I do a year and what kind of purposed I have with this car so keeping this car is not expensive.
